Raphael Morris is a St. Louis native, having attended and graduated from Normandy Senior High School in 1996. Mr. Morris continued his education in St. Louis attending the University of Missouri – Saint Louis, receiving his bachelor’s degree in 2000.
Being inspired by the careers of Thurgood Marshall and Johnnie Cochran, Mr. Morris chose to pursue a career as an attorney and received his Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston Texas in 2003.
An Experienced Criminal Defense and Personal Injury Lawyer
Mr. Morris took and passed the Missouri Bar Examination in 2003, and upon becoming licensed began working as an attorney for the St. Louis law firm of Smith & Associates, LLC. During his tenure at Smith & Associates, he represented individuals and businesses in many different areas of law. Raphael founded the Morris Firm in 2005 in order to focus on serving the St. Louis community in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury.
In addition to focusing on these practice areas, The Morris Firm is a general practice law firm representing individuals, municipalities, businesses, and not-for-profit agencies. Mr. Morris also serves as a municipal judge in the Cities of Velda City and Northwoods in St. Louis County.
