Fatal auto accidents are devastating and occur too frequently. According to the Association for Safe International Road Travel, it is estimated that 37,000 people are killed in car accidents every year in the United States. Regardless of the numerous resources to encourage safe driving, a large portion of these auto accidents are caused by negligent driving. Negligent driving can be demonstrated by driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, distracted driving, speeding, inattentive driving, and aggressive driving.
