An 11-year-old boy was riding his skateboard when he was struck by a vehicle on Monday night. The accident happened in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin at approximately 6:20 p.m. According to authorities, the boy was skateboarding along W. North Ave. when he attempted to cross the street and fell to the ground. He was then run over by an SUV near N. 70th Street. The boy was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene of the accident and is cooperating with investigators.
